BANGALORE: The country's second largest software exporter
Infosys has undertaken a re-structuring exercise that will give more responsibilities to Chandrasekar Kakal, a member of its executive council, and V Balakrishnan, board member and former CFO.
Consulting and systems integration head will now report to Kakal, who will have overall responsibility for this business in addition to his current responsibility of Business IT Services. Pratt will also run the utilities and resources vertical in North America and report to Balakrishnan for this.
In addition, growth markets -- Australia, Middle East, Germany, France -- will have a new reporting structure with all the country heads reporting to V G Dheeshjith, the head of life sciences.
Infosys said in a statement that it had undertaken some reorganization within the company to further improve its client focus and competitiveness. It did not provide further details.
